The collaboration will bring together Divergent Technologies’ advanced manufacturing capabilities, UNIMOT’s investment and business expertise, and PZL Defence’s industrial experience to support the development and production of solutions for the dual-use, aerospace, automotive and broader advanced manufacturing sectors.
A key objective of the agreement is to evaluate the potential establishment in Poland of Divergent’s first advanced manufacturing facility in Europe.

Under the proposed cooperation, UNIMOT will contribute a potential investment location, local project execution capabilities, regulatory support and market access. PZL Defence will bring sector expertise, ongoing development programs, manufacturing capabilities and market knowledge. Divergent will contribute its DAPS technology – the Divergent Adaptive Production System – an integrated digital manufacturing platform combining design, engineering and advanced production technologies, including metal additive manufacturing and robotic assembly.
Divergent’s first European Adaptive Manufacturing Campus
DAPS integrates digital design, engineering and advanced manufacturing into a single production system. It is designed to accelerate product development, reduce part counts and enable flexible, scalable manufacturing of complex structures. Divergent currently operates two major manufacturing facilities in California.

The agreement with Divergent Technologies represents another step in the development of the industrial and technology ecosystem being built around PZL Defence.
Earlier this week at MSPO in Kielce, PZL Defence unveiled the VELOR D600 unmanned system, one of the company’s latest development programs. At the same time, PZL Sędziszów, together with UNIMOT and PZL Defence, announced an agreement with Ukrainian aircraft engine design bureau Ivchenko-Progress to develop a new turbojet engine and prepare for its future production in Poland.
Together, these initiatives reflect the UNIMOT Group’s strategy of combining proprietary product development, cooperation with leading technology partners and the creation of industrial capabilities required to bring advanced products into scalable production.
